"If a friend ever asks me about a Tai Chi instructor, I always send them to Marie Favorito. I find her classes very relaxing and refreshing. She was very attentive to me as a beginner and her sensitivity allowed me to get the maximum benefit and feel comfortable in a class of very advanced students."         - Bill McGowan, Somerville, MA

Guest Teachers:

Master Wei Lun Huang returns annually in March and October

Master Mantak Chia  returns annually in June

Throughout the year, BHT offers regular weekly classes, workshops and intensives in Taoist studies. Course are taught by Healing Tao Instructors, Marie Favorito, (Director of BHT), Joe Anzalone and Jamee Culbertson.

We are honored and fortunate to host Guest Teachers several times a year as well.  The frequency of thier visits are increasing due to the popularity of the course of study and the interest of students.

Attending Classes, Workshops, Intensives and/or Retreats are the fastest and most assured way to learn and practice while getting some feedback about your progress.  Private lessons are also available and specific to an individuals needs.

That said, not everybody can do this if you do not have a teacher near to you.  In this case, those who wish to begin or further their Taoist studies without attending classes can do so via
home study tools.

The
Tai Chi DVD comes with 2 free ebooks: 'Learning From a DVD' and '7 Ways to Vary Your Tai Chi Practice', both written by Healing Tao Instructor Jamee Culbertson.

Learning ancient and essential tools for optimum living is essential. The Medical Chi Kung techniques taught at the Boston Healing Tao are also taught in clinics throughout Asia, all centering on developing Chi flow. Relaxation methods for centering and guiding Chi as well as techniques to emit Chi is used to heal yourself and others.

We teach all the core tools you need to know for centering and balancing your life force energy, your Chi, found within Master Mantak Chia's Healing Tao system.

The Healing Tao practices are derived from ancient Taoist and Buddhist techniques rooted in the processes of nature and are linked to Traditional Chinese Medicine. They have been gathered and integrated into a coherent, accessible system for well-being. The Healing Tao is not a religion and does not require the belief in any set of deities or gods. The techniques work directly with the life force, Chi or Qi. The aim of the Healing Tao is to restore the individual to a condition of harmony with the flow of the forces of nature.
