Dave Riccobono

David Riccobono first came to Boston from New York in 1992, to attend Berklee College of Music. After graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Music Education, he spent the following years in local Boston rock bands.

David first began practicing in 2000, after reading Awaken Healing Energy Through The Tao, by Master Mantak Chia. Only a few years later, he attended his first workshop with the visiting Master. At this time he also met BHT Director, Marie Favorito, and fellow BHT Instructors; Jamee Culbertson, and Joe Anzalone. Soon after this workshop, Dave began to practice and study regularly with these three instructors, with the goal of becoming a certified Universal Healing Tao instructor. He was tested and certified as an Associate instructor in June of 2007.


David’s future goal is to become a certified Full instructor, concentrating further on Tai Chi Chi Kung, Chi Nei Tsang, Tao Yin Yoga, and the Fusion of the Five Elements meditation practice.

David is also currently a member of the local Boston Band, The Hail Baby, combining his practice into his singing, guitar playing, and inspiring his song writing.
